About Us

Red Dragon Events was established in March 2003 by Hedd Adams-Lewis, BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management.

Hedd has over 18 years experience in the hospitality industry predominantly within 4 and 5 star properties in England, Wales, Australia and the USA. During this time he has gained hands on experience in co-ordinating conferences, evening functions and corporate golf days, along with direct dealings of sales and event booking.

Before establishing Red Dragon Events, Hedd spent over 2 years working in the Sales Office at the World famous The Belfry Hotel and Golf Resort, - 4 time host to Golf's Ryder Cup matches.

Outside of work, Hedd is a keen golfer, a passionate long suffering follower of the Welsh National Football team (read about his fund raising bike ride to Dublin), enjoys cooking and eating good food, cycling and travelling. Hedd has lived in Canada, Australia, America and France.

His ambitions include scoring a hole in one at golf, seeing Wales qualify for a major football tournament and go hiking in the glaciers of Patagonia, Argentina (where they also speak Welsh!)

Hedd is a Welsh word meaning peace or tranquillity and is pronounced "Hair" "the". "dd" is also 1 letter in the Welsh alphabet, and is pronounced "th" as in "that".

Kirsty Follows RM, BSc (Hons) joined Hedd at Red Dragon Events in January 2007 to assist with administration and the continued expansion focusing on office management, organisation, credit control and sales.

Kirsty is a qualified registered midwife with many years experience of working with a broad spectrum of people in often emotional and emergency situations. Working autonomously in such a highly skilled profession has given Kirsty excellent organisational and management skills in addition to the knowledge of the importance of giving individual care and attention to each client's specific requirements.

Kirsty enjoys horse riding and travelling and has been involved for a number of years in voluntary work and fundraising for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. Her knowledge and interest in football, especially that of the Welsh National team, has increased considerably since meeting Hedd in 2005!
